This 19th century colonial mansion is located in Pelourinho, facing Baía de Todos os Santos Bay. Great place to stay in Salvador! Very central and close to all key locations. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it - I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Public transportation and the Elevator Lacerda are a short walk away. Michel, the young man working the front desk, was a delight. He was extremely helpful, alerting me to various activities around town. He was so friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast and breakfast room were very nice, too. Great overall atmosphere and location (one block from central square).

Situat în cartierul liniştit Pelourinho, Hostelul Laranjeiras, renovat recent, oferă Wi-Fi gratuit, un design exterior în nuanţe vesele de galben şi patiouri ornamentale. Excellent varied breakfast included in price and served in their café on the bottom floor, nice staff and pleasant space to sit and linger/work after breakfast. Great wifi. I loved the amazing location on a street with old colorful houses, right across from the Olodum school, which pretty much meant free drumming shows when they practiced on the street right in front of the hostel entrance! Nice shared bathrooms with several shower stalls (male/female separate), with hand soap and toilet paper. Helpful people at the reception, one block to a square with places to eat and outside music at night. Loved this hostel.
