The hotel is very good value for money. Very clean, big rooms. At check in they accept western credit cards (Mastercard, Visa). At least one member of staff we spoke to spoke English, other used translator on the phone to communicate which works very well, so check-in and out was smooth. 10 mins from metro Daixin (in Chinese 大新). This is the closest metro station. It is Green Line (Line 1), second stop after changing from line 11, which goes from the airport. It makes the location super convenient to visit the city. Total time from the airport to the hotel by metro took us under 45 min, ticket price 5 Yen per trip. You can exchange money to get cash at the airport. A lot of food options around: both street food and restaurants.

DoubleTree By Hilton Shenzhen Nanshan Hotel & Residences features air-conditioned rooms with cable flat-screen TV in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. The staff have been very helpful. Specially the front office lady Ms Violet who was very helpful in getting local information for us on tennis courts availanle for play, bookstores for children, shows and theatre performances. The breakfast spread was good with many healthy choices

Comfortable, clean and modern, with convenient location. It also had a retractable washing line in the shower - very convenient, and all too rare nowadays.

Offering 34 elegant rooms across six time-honoured villas nestled in a private garden, located in the bustling heart of Shekou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The hotel was absolutely amazing, it exceeded our expectations. It was a proper quiet oasis in between the busy city. I personally stayed in Shenzhen before (different hotels in different districts) and this was the most quiet and comfortable hotel as per my experience.
