Everything was great, as expected! Staff is very kind and supportive. Very well located within the walled city, nearby a great shopping center.

Located in the heart of Cartagena’s walled city, this modern hotel is a 16th century remodelled building and features a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and shared lounge. This hotel is so underrated and exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredible and very helpful. We had a very nice room and we loved the big shower. The breakfast was amazing, and one could chose at the buffet and order several other things à la carte. The buffet changed slightly every morning and was definitely the best we had in Cartagena. One of the highlights was the pool area, as it offers a big pool (big enough to swim) and a jacuzzi, and a lot of pool chairs. The pool area was the biggest of all the hotels we stayed at in Cartagena. The concierge service is very practical and will give you a lot of useful tips and help you book day tours to Baru or Isla del Rosario.

Hotel Casa San Agustín was really an extraordinary and magical place. They have taken care of every detail in the architecture of the place and the staff was so worry about everything you need. In addition, the food in Alma Restaurant was delicious. The place was magical, literally a diamond in the middle of old Cartagena de Indias. My trip would not have been the same if I had not stay here.
