This hotel opposite Cologne's Lanxess Arena offers a unique mix of historic and modern architecture and good transport links. The Hotel Stadtpalais is set in a protected historic building. This is the best place I've stayed in so far in Köln. Right in front of Lanxess Arena, not far from the center (30 min walk to the main train station). Very comfortable, quiet and with an amazing included breakfast (both the place and buffet are awesome)

We attended a concert and the arena was right across the street. So convenient for a late night. It’s been warm again in Sept and the AC was nice to have. It worked great.

Directly opposite Cologne Trade Fair, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms, hot drinks facilities and free WiFi in the rooms. Cologne’s old town is 7 minutes away by underground train. Perfect location just opposite Entrane E of Koeln Messe and a few minutes away from the train station. Very friendly staff, comfortble room and very good breakfast. It also have a Spa and pool but we did not have the time to use it. It's great value for money and I willdefinitely book it again if I had to visit Cologne any time soon.

Zur guten Quelle is a guest house is located in Cologne, 500 metres from Cologne Fairgrounds and 400 metres from LANXESS Arena. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. This is a beautiful little gem. Walking distance to the bridges, and very close to public transportation. We also enjoyed the restaurants on this side of the river. The room and bathroom were really large and beautifully decorated. Staff was wonderful.
