We enjoyed the proximity to the Acropolis area. Also the welcome was just lovely, and helpful. The lifts are tiny, but no problem. I was going to go back down for the second bag, but the nice reception man suddenly appeared with it. We were given a room on the 5th floor with a view through to the Acropolis, which was a joy, and a balcony also. The double glazing was marvellous as the next day a road digger was hideously noisy but with the door closed we didn't hear a thing. Will definitely stay here again

Staff excellent and very friendly. Delicious breakfast overlooking The Parthenon. Ten minutes walk to Thissio Underground station but we did not use it as everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Used Booking.com taxi service to and from airport. Great restaurants nearby.

14 Reasons Why Hotel Athens is located in the heart of Athens, 200 metres from Monastiraki Square. The property features a terrace, as well as a shared lounge. The breakfast was truly fabulous. There was a good selection of savory & sweet options, and its not the usual continental options...think fancy avocado toasts, pancakes with fresh fruit and huge Greek yogurt parfaits. The bonus for us was the coffee! No crappy coffee here...we got to order lattes and cappuccinos!

Set in Athens, 300 metres from Ermou Street-Shopping Area, The Artist Athens offers air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. We had a wonderful stay at the artist Athens. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Due to a room mix-up we were not able to get the room we booked but they made it up by giving us a room upgrade for the second night. They really went out of their way to make us feel valued. We highly recommend taking the Suite on 3rd level where you can get a glimpse of the Acropolis. The roof top bar is fantastic for a cocktail in the evening and has direct view of the Acropolis.
