Really enjoyed our stay here with my son to watch Edinburgh finest (Heart of Midlothian) play Fiorentina - Andrea was very welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was really nice. The room was very stylish and clean. The location is great - 15-20 min walk to the stadium, but also a nice walk into the city centre too, and it is in a quiet location - there is also a large supermarket and nice places to eat nearby which we really liked. It felt very safe walking back at night with my 11-year old son. Firenze was beautiful, and along with 4,000 other Hearts fans we had a great time, and were welcomed by the very friendly Firenze people. We would absolutely stay here again.

One big special thanks to the restaurant, Alesandro made our evening perfect, cozy, and quiet, and he was super helpful to organize florentine steak for us and great vine to pair the food. And of course, special thanks to the chef who cooked meat perfectly, it melted in the mouth. We were fascinated with service and quality!

Offering rooms with a view over the Tuscan hills, Hotel Villa La Stella is set on the hills of Fiesole, in a quiet area 5 km from the centre of Florence. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful. Although it is far from the city centre, location has very nice view and calm location. Transport is easy.
