Il Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes occupa un elegante edificio in stile Liberty, proprio fuori dalla zona a traffico limitato, a piedi dai teatri Massimo e Politeama di Palermo. The hotel was really beautiful, and the staff were very attentive, helpful and nice. The breakfast was gorgeous.

Excellent service, nice confortable room, nice breakfast, friendly smiles! We forgot 1 of our luggage at the room and discovered too late when we already were on the way to our home country in EU. The staff were really nice (Olga and Silvia) helping us with packing it and shipping it to our home! It was our fault but they helped us anyway.

If you are lucky to see an availability about this hotel, please read this: 1. Host and cleaner were really accommodating,friendly and very helpful. Giuseppe is there whenever you need him. The check in was smooth and everything were explained well. 2. The hotel ambiance is relaxing with all the things needed were provided from breakfast (Coffee machine was great as you can make cappucino or any type of coffee you want, they also provide juice and amounts of bottled water on your fridge inside the room) the bathroom towels and bed linens were always changed (always, everyday). The room and overall ambiance of the hotel were the best accommodation i have ever been so far in my whole traveling experience. 3. The location of the hotel is positioned where it is walkable from the historic center of Palermo. You could go either left or right of the street and you could just pop in to via maqueda, the famous mercatos and street foods of Palermo. It was also easy to find coming from the Palermo Centrale Station. You could walk your way going to the hotel. 4. The water inside the shower has hot and/or cold. After a long day of walking in Palermo, if you needed to shower, your preferred shower whether its cold or hot or in between is available as soon as you open it. Also, Airconditioning and TV is available in the room. So its really a good feeling to stay and just relax to finish the day. 5. They also allow you to leave your luggages upon early check in or when you check out if needed. 6. Overall my boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Palermo as this hotel really gave us the time and unwind. It was really perfect. It was overwhelming and beyond our expectations.

We made this our "base" as we went on a cruise and then DIY itinerary around Sicily. It was perfect cause you can leave your luggage with used clothes with them while you go on another trip. Its also near lots of shops and restaurants. And a good pin location accessible to uber drivers.

Situato nel quartiere Ruggero Settimo di Palermo, l’Hotel Plaza Ungheria si trova a 1,1 km dalla Cattedrale di Palermo, a 1 km dalla Fontana Pretoria e a 500 metri da Piazza Castelnuovo. Excellent location, in the center, near Via Maqueda. Everything is clean and new, on the first floor, with lovely hostess that informed us about everything interesting in the city. Parking is in front, you have to pay for it and we found space everytime. Breakfast is in the bisto near by and it was lovely - 2 croisants and coffee. Overall great experience.

The location is very central for sightseeing, dining and shopping. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable..The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Your business was appreciated and you were made very welcome by a young staff. You can get an airport shuttle bus to Politeama and walk a short distance to the hotel which is €10 return. We got a shared taxi from the airport for €8 per person to Palermo which dropped us 2 minutes from the hotel.The taxi will wait until it is full which may be 10 to 15 minutes. You can also book a taxi for €50 but agree the price first.
