I expected to check in really late, and the host was very kind to allow my request beforehand. Unexpectedly, my bus arrival into Turin was delayed and I turned up at the hotel in the middle of the night. Yet the host was very understanding and polite, and waited up for me. It was this hospitality that touched me. The bus station is a very walkable 15mins away, and the train station is even nearer. To the city centre it takes about 25mins of leisure walking. Room is clean and spacious, and very much value for money for Western Europe standards.

Hotel Bologna is set in a 19th-century building in Turin's centre, opposite Porta Nuova Train Station, with metro and tram stops. It offers air conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi. The reception staff is lovely, nice location, clean, comfortable bed and clean and nice toilet and shower. No deficiency of anything. Good value for the cost.

The hotel breakfast is well worth the small fee and provides a nice selection of breakfast foods and beverages. During our 3 day stay we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including restaurants, shops and tourist attractions, but if you need the metro or train station they are both less than a 5 minute walk away.
