Food was fantastic, spa treatments were Very good, pool and connected large hot tub were great! Best to go early or late to avoid the kids. Some local hiking was lovely and the hotel staff can help direct you where to go.

The hotel was located in the center of Ulaanbaatar, so it was convenient to move around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially large and clean. It was nice to be able to use LG25 store without having to go out side. The staff was also friendly. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Traffic in UB is crazy so for our needs Ibis (not centre located) was just great. the staff is very kind and professional. there is a café should you have some business meetings. and you can print your docs in the business centre without any hassle. I am glad I picked Ibis, could not be better.

My room is facing frozen river with open city view which is very romantic and chill. Staff of hotel is all very helpful. Breakfast is simple, Korean type and with hot soap, steaming dumpling and simple tea and coffee which is all I need for the day before heading out to minus 22 degree.

    Had to stay on gear as organising a tour. But 4 days would be enough. Nice enough city. Shopping malls ok, some rather funny with layout. Good coffeee and cafes. Lots of statues to look at. Genghis Khan statue worth a visit. Eagle holding amazing. Had a go at archery. Visit to turtle rock ok, not a difficult climb. Nice trek up to the monastery .

    Ulaanbatar hotel is a nice hotel with an authentic Mongol atmosphere. The staff is very forthcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean and it is well located in one of the nicer districts of Ulaanbaatar. At check out the promised breakfast box wasn't there and it made me nervous that my room needed to be checked by the staff before I was let "off the hook" while I had to leave in order to catch my plane.

    The city gets a bad rap for being congested and full of traffic. I felt that it is good to stay at least a couple of nights to see the National Museum, the Changgis Khan Museum and visit some of the parks. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to see everything.

    Location is great, very friendly staff. Rooms were a great size and very clean. Just check your AC before unpacking your bags. The hotel has a great coffee shop in the lobby, which serves great coffee.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square. If your hotel is a bit far from it, you may use a bus, they run very frequently, you don't need to wait long at the bus stop. I really recommend visiting a folk show for tourists at the drama theatre Үндэсний Урлагийн Их Театр. Some important tourist attractions are outside Ulaanbaatar, so book a tour to see Chinggis Khaan statue and visit Terelj National Park. For shopping I recommend Shangri-La Mall.

    An experience for the curious traveller, with scenery that...

    An experience for the curious traveller, with scenery that is varied and diverse. Probably need to be a dedicated carnivore and only visit in the warm months. Mary and Martha and the State Department Store ( top floor) are worth a visit. Decent coffee at Namu, and Millie’s. I still like Verandah for food (next to the Choijin Lama temple)and the Khan Irish pub for beer and atmosphere.

    The double room is large and very clean. The bathroom is comfortable and the hot water is nice and really hot. Wifi is good, not accessible from the room, but that's normal. The location is also good. The environment is quiet and seems safe. The staff is friendly. The hotel offers interesting tours and affordable shuttles to and from the airport at all hours. I recommend.

    Very good service. There is a shopping gallery at the ground floor, including food store, where you can buy all you need during your stay. I had to leave earlier and hotel made reimbursement of my advanced paid amount within a few days after my departure. This is very nice and deserves respect. Next time in Mongolia I will certainly stay at this hotel again.
