We had a comfortable stay in this “couch surfing” style accommodation. The room is simple and small but that was enough for a 2-nights stay. The place is clean and tidy. The hosts passionately made sure we had everything we needed and wanted, and were happy to converse and laugh together. Even free breakfast and snacks were provided. To get to/from the city center you need to use public transportation. The closest bus station is some 7 minutes walk away. Make sure you are comfortable with staying at an apartment shared with the hosts and other guests. There’s a lovely cat in the apartment😻

Binder provided on how to operate all appliances. Living Room: Contains a couch/pull-out bed. Free wifi. With signin access to popular video streaming services. Bedroom: Oversized queen-size bed, his and hers floor-to-ceiling closet, excellent blackout curtains Washroom: Walkin floor-to-ceiling shower. Contains bidet. Balcony: Enclosed, with glass levered windows which can be opened or closed. Contains patio table and chairs. Building: 24 hour security. Underground parking. Front-door building security access. Well maintained grounds. Neighbourhood: Open, modern village square outside the building entrance with various coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, grocery shop, bike rental, and many other shops and services on or around the square. The riverfront contains extensive walking and biking paths, large green spaces, and a neighbourhood playground. Minutes away is the Marvila train station with connections to various parts of Lisbon. The downtown Lisbon and the modern Parque Das Nacoes neighbourhood are only minutes away by foot, bike, bus, or train. Property Management: Romano. Very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Extremely responsive by text/email and always available to meet in-person, if required.

Very helpful and friendly host, conducting all communication, including check-in and check-out, digitally through WhatsApp. Great location outside the tourist throngs of the historical center, but with easy access to the public transport (rail, bus).

The apartment Vistas Sobre O Rio Tejo is a nice flat located on the tenth floor with a beautiful view of Lisbon’s gulf. The building is located in the quiet and safe district between the train station Lisbon-Oriente and Lisbon’s airport. So, it’s easy to reach this location after traveling and it’s not possible to miss the morning flight if it’s necessary. There are also very good connections to other parts of Lisbon by metro and buses. So, the location is perfect. The owners of the apartment, Deflina and Sara, are nice and easy-going women. They take care of everything necessary. So, the guests can easily contact them, set the hour of arrival, and get the keys. They also care about basic information for tourists, e.g., a map of Lisbon with a transportation network. The apartment is large and clean. What is also important, it is equipped with air-conditioning. I can sincerely recommend Vistas Sobre O Rio Tejo for shorter and longer stays in Lisbon.

Ana is a kind and welcoming host, I instantly felt comfortable in her lovely home! The bedroom was super quiet and comfortable with a lovely view, it is removed enough from Ana's living space to give privacy if desired. The private bathroom was a great bonus! Ana has a coffee and tea station for guests and I was lucky to have some homemade cake. The area around the apartment has easy access to metro and lots of shops for food or missing items before a flight (plus the airport is very close by taxi). I genuinely enjoyed meeting Ana and having a great chat, I'd be delighted to stay again next time I'm passing through Lisbon
