Offering views of the Chao Phraya River, Avani Plus Riverside Bangkok Hotel features rooms with a blend of contemporary and modern styles. The excellent Junior Suite we stayed in had a full 270 degree view over the river and the entire City of Bangkok. The breakfast buffet is superb and the hotel staff are consistently helpful and friendly.

The staff were fantastic, and the facilities lived up to my expectations. Despite arriving before check-in time, the staff made me feel comfortable while waiting for my room. I'm already looking forward to returning here on my next visit to Bangkok.

Conveniently situated off the main road, Bangkok Loft Inn is just a 11-minute walk from Wongwian Yai BTS skytrain station. This hotel features a shared lounge and on-site parking. This hotel exceeded all expectations; extremely clean, rooms supplied with everything you need and great AC. The gym was basic but had proper dumbbell wights and bench for exercising. Though it was on a Main Street the noise was never a problem nor heard in our room. Staff was very friendly and 24 hour desk made arriving early in the morning an easeful experience as they allow luggage to be stored before our room became available. Local food market/court within 5 min walk that had excellent authentic Thai options for breakfast. Plan on staying here again in the future.

Situated within 6.2 km of Wat Arun and 6.3 km of Wat Pho, Kaya Place features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bangkok. Nice staff, big room, big bed. Good to have a sofa, table, desk, fridge, good wifi, and lots of space. Not much in the immediate vicinity, but within walking / bus distance (towards Dao Kanong) there are good food options, market, night market. Plenty of untapped entertainment and great local food nearby actually, but it just takes a bit of research and planning. Near-zero tourist area.

Set within 4.1 km of Wat Arun and 4.2 km of Wat Pho, Baan Boon offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bangkok. I like the cosy room, very quiet and super clean. Functional too ! The tropical garden is a guenine oasis in the middle of BKK. Sani is a very friendly host and provides many useful tips about Thonburi. Thank you ! Off the beaten tracks, away from the skyscrapers, back to the traditional BKK !!!

Escape Bangkok’s bustle in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. The hotel and the service were excellent. A combination of a view to the river and gardens are something which you rarely find in a big city like Bangkok.

Set in Bangkok, 3.7 km from Wat Arun, HOUSEMODE - BAANYAI @ Wongwian Yai offers express check-in and check-out and free WiFi. It is situated 3.8 km from Wat Pho and features luggage storage space. Very clean, good location, close to the skytrain. The staff where very nice (we could place our luggage there even after check out). The bathroom was nice and clean.

Anurak Guesthouse, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Bangkok, 6.2 km from Wat Pho, 6.7 km from Temple of the Emerald Buddha, as well as 6.8 km from Grand Palace. Anurak is just amazing! Great service, he is doing literally everything for his guests. And we had birthdays on the same day! Anurak, I wish all the best for you, stay as you are 😀
