I thought the hotel was really beautifully designed, it felt very homely and comfortable. Alex was especially helpful and kind, and is excellent at his job. To be honest all the staff were wonderful and helped me a great deal. Angelica was fabulous too (sorry if that name is wrong!).

We stayed 5 nights for medical appointments and visiting friends. The location is good for accessing freeways, although the traffic is intense no matter which direction you venture - but that is more Austin than the location of the hotel. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. We felt safe in the area at and near the hotel. The staff was helpful and always available.

Staff were not friendly and when I checked in I waited for ten minutes for someone to come to the desk and it was early evening and when she did come no apology. I had reservations for a king with a sleeper sofa and agreed to a room with two doubles to get the lower floor however no sitting area or sleeper sofa and no reduced rate.
