Located within walking distance to Ochsner Baptist Medical Center, Alder Hotel Uptown New Orleans is situated in the historic Uptown district of New Orleans. Free private parking is available on site.... The Alder is a fabulous hotel located in a pleasant area just outside the city centre. A ten minute stroll down Napoleon av. takes you to the tram stop for the St Charles av. route into the city. The walk down Napoleon felt very safe even at night. The free parking at the Alder was a huge bonus and very welcome and it could potentially save you almost $40 a night compared to other hotel's parking charges. Everything about the hotel was good, the room size, the view, the facilities and the service on reception was outstanding. Every single person on the desk was helpful and curteous. A special mention must go to Amy who is an absolute star! She gave us so much advice and was a mine of information! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we return to N.O.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Very nicely decorated in general, but also for Xmas. Wonderful owners living upstairs. Perhaps not all guests should expect this, but they invited us to a quiet Xmas dinner with great local cuisine.

Very close to Tulane, walk to Superior Seafood, steps to amazing coffee and other delights at Mojo, phenomenal green mole tacos and good vibes at Val’s, and everything you could ever need at upscale Rousse’s market. we didn’t try the kolache place but it was clearly popular and also right there. very quiet at night (I was pleasantly surprised) as all the businesses were closed by midnight or earlier. also backyard was as pictured, very comfortable and nice.

Uptown NOLA Abode, 4 Miles to the French Quarter! ligger i New Orleans, 13 minuters promenad från Uptown New Orleans historiska kvarter och 1,8 km från Touro Synagogue, och erbjuder boende med gratis... For our family and how we like to travel this location was great. There is a strip of local eateries only 3 blocks away, including a small grocery store. Not to far from the Frank Quarter if you have your own vehicle, we loved looking at all the houses and trees along the way.

Spacious apartment with plenty of amenities on offer. The bed is comfy and having access to a balcony was cute. We also enjoyed the little kitchenette and coffee machine! The uptown area of New Orleans is a much calmer side of the city and we really enjoyed staying there instead of the city. The place is located on a busy shopping and dining street so there are always food options handy. The host was responsive and checked in on us after our arrival. Would stay here again!
