Excellent location near the beachfront. We loved the breakfast and how we were received by the hotel staff. We liked that we could get free bikes with the hotel for a ride around town. Located less than a minutes’ walk to the beach, this pet-friendly Santa Barbara motel offers an outdoor pool and modern guest rooms with cable TV. State Street is 5 minutes’ drive away. Very clean, comfortable bed, and a wonderful desk lady. On top of that, it’s only a couple of minutes to the beach and half an hour walk or a few minutes drive to the center of the city. Area felt really safe. It did not feel like your usual motel, it felt higher rank! Overall lovely place, would highly recommend.

Well situated in the West Beach district of Santa Barbara, Hideaway Santa Barbara, A Kirkwood Collection Hotel is situated 1.1 km from Leadbetter Beach, 1.1 km from East Beach and 17 km from... We stayed for 3 nights in mid September 2023. The hotel was exactly as pictured when we booked. Light and airy and spotlessly clean. When we arrived we weren't sure about the location, as it's close to the 101 Freeway, but it turned out to be great as you can walk to most of the attractions in Santa Barbara. The staff were excellent. Really good communications about breakfast (which was excellent), housekeeping, night cover phone numbers and even a free glass of wine at happy hour. We stayed in room 9 and enjoyed the little balcony (big enough for 2) where we sat and watched the sun go down behind the mountains.
