Я был наверно в 35 странах, примерно. Всегда стараюсь бронировать хорошие отели. На одном букинге за 50 проживаний перевалило. Но что хочу сказать. Этот отель не 5* звезд. Это 10* в сравнении с тем где бывал. Уровень просто космос. Нет, там конечно нет инкрустированного бриллиантами унитаза. Но там всё настолько продумано до мелочей и сделано с вниманием и любовью к каждой мелочи + к этому персонал настолько крутой, что я даже не знаю как это описать и где они нашли таких сотрудников. Я впервые вижу настолько крутых людей. Всё из разряда ты только подумал, это тут же сделали. При этом это не с кислой рожей, а настолько круто делается, как будто вы реально близкий человек им. Каждый сотрудник красивый, в классной дизайнерской форме с иголочки, даже обувь у всех одинаковая классная. Вам и чай/кофе в постель принесут и грелочку в постель. Сэр, у вас колесо подспущено, разрешите мы отгоним в ремзону сделаем и машину помоем. Сэр, к сожалению у нас нет шампанского, только игристое - достает ледяное просеко. И сами номера, и река рядом. Это прям высший уровень. Мне даже нечего посоветовать чтобы улучшить. Даже не буду про еду, подушки, туалет, интернет писать. Всё круто! Это лучший отель в жизни где был. Spent 9 nights here. The location is great as you're sleeping in the park. Obadiah, the manager, was great. He helped me with everything from game drives to getting a covid test needed to depart. Dennis, my driver/guide, works for Julia's and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & kept in contact with the other guides so we didn't miss a river crossing (or anything else). We saw leopard, plenty of lion, cheetah, hyena, elephants, two river crossings (5000 animals each crossing), cheetah kill, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, crocs, etc. Truly exceptional and once in a lifetime experience. The meals were great. I had pancakes, fresh fruit, & whip cream for breakfast. Eggs, etc are available. Value for money 10/10.

For my needs and expectations, everything was fulfilled, even beyond the measure and initial expectations. The location of the campsite is great, right next to a river full of life (hippo, crocodile, lots of birds and Dik-Dik antelope right in the campsite, ...). The camp staff is just as wonderful as the food offerings. Comfort and equipment in the tent are more than enough for me. The possibility to charge the batteries and even the reach of the wifi signal, which is otherwise only available in the common areas of the camp. The campsite is very close to the Talek entrance gate, so it's really just a short off-road drive to the Masai Mara reserve. No more than 2-3 minutes. Drinking water is available all day and you can take it in your own bottles, even for a day-long game drive expedition. That is a very nice offer. Likewise, the attitude of Mustafa, the owner of the campsite, is very great! I definitely recommend this campsite and I definitely want to come back to it again in the future. However, what could definitely be improved is the stability of the power supply, which is apparently powered by an external generator and has been switching off/dropping quite often. And every morning it turned off very early, despite the fact that it was still dark or dim.

Staying at Greenwood camp was a wonderful experience! The camp had a great safari vibe. The staff was very friendly and caring and the host was so helpful with organizing activities. Really recommend their safari - the drivers put much effort into showing us as much as possible in one day. There is also an option of buying meals made fresh at the camp which I highly recommend.

It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

So special place in nice location on the Talek river, many animals around , hippos and crocodiles monkeys and more. The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities you will need. The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.
