Set in Minca, 19 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 22 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, Minca Glamping offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. We loved everything. The family/staff were wonderful; very friendly and helpful. We were given a wonderful fruit drink at check-in. The accommodation was wonderful and the environment great. The accommodation is open to the outside with screening and it makes for a wonderful sleeping and relaxing experience. The quality of the accommodation, chairs, hammocks, while rustic are very good quality and totally fit with the cabins. The bamboo construction is just wonderful. If you want the ideal get away and relaxation spot you will not find better. I also liked that while you are definitely in the jungle the grounds are lightly gardened and tended which just adds to the beauty.

The hotel is beautiful. Situated on the edge of the river it is picturesque and peaceful. the pools with all the different Jets around made it fun and even more relaxing. the food was excellent! the best I’ve had in Colombia thus far. The best of all was the staff. they went above and beyond to accommodate my every need. they got my laundry done in record time , and even spoke some English. a special mention to Caesar who was super helpful and kind. oh and hot shower as well as a super massage which was very well priced.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, GLAMPING BAReKE AZUL2 is situated in Santa Marta. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

This was our favourite stay in Colombia. A beautiful setting, clean and comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and a great pizzeria next door, owned by the same family… just perfect. We stayed in the larger ‘tent’ and it was great to have the extra space for bags etc, but both options looked lovely. The owner was very helpful in arranging us mototaxis into the centre of Minca, but we also walked on other occasions and it wasn’t too far - 30 minutes. We loved going to the cascada escondida nearby, and even the river which was even closer on the same route was great for a quick dip!

Hostal Ana is a recently renovated luxury tent in Santa Marta, where guests can make the most of its bar and shared lounge. Really beautiful cabin room overlooking the Sierra Nevada, the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff gave us complimentary expresso and were always there when we needed something. The food was also great! Would definitely recommend:)
