The location was magical, surrounded by beautiful snow covered forest beside the lake and only 12 min walk from the nearest bus station. Enjoyed BBQ at Lappish BBQ hut. The sauna and shower were spacious and super clean .Milda cooperated in all respects to make our stay so memorable at igloo.

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. Absoluetly beautiful, remote enough so you really feel lost in Lapland. Great breakfast as well!

Includes a dining table. Guests have access to a shared kitchen. Please note that bathrooms are shared and located in the service building. Running water is also found there. The proximity to nature trails is fantastic. The place rent snow shoes that are needed for some of the trails. The shared bathroom and kitchen were also great and convenient and super close to the cabin. Our cabin was super cute and cozy. The food at the restaurant was great. The staff is super nice and there are good vibes in this place. There are buses a few times a day to Saariselka. I totally recommend it!

The cabin is located on a small hill with a nice view over the fells. Even the cabin is small, you find everything there you need! Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom, comfortable beds! Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.
