What an authentic experience !..a very special time was had by myself and my daughter..a lovely jungle set up ..Prashan , the host was so friendly and helpful providing us with teas and coffees and any assistance we needed. Fire lit evening meals which were delicious compliments to the chef.. felt magical next to the river...They provided a private jeep for the next day all day safari package which i highly recommend as we saw nearly all the animals present....from elephants to snakes and then came back to a very comfortable tent with en suite bathroom. We enjoyed an early morning boat ride before we left . The wildlife and birds around the camp were incredible ...would highly recommend as we will definately return

The tent features air conditioning. The unit has 2 beds. River View Safari Cottage. A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The staff were superb. charming, kind and very knowledgeable. Avinka was incredible, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and leading us on our trek through the wilderness to find over 17 elephants was such a thrill. Mr Kumana was also so helpful and a great guide. the chef was very talented, considering we were in the jungle, the meals he created for us were some of the best we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everyone we met during our two nights stay were just the sweetest people. The entire experience was fantastic and we totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the joys of the Sri Lankan jungle with 5 star accommodation and food.

Kottawatta River Bank Resort bevindt zich in Udawalawe, op 17 km van Nationaal park Udawalawe, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in een luxe tent aan het zwembad welke van alle gemakken voorzien is. Het eten in het restaurant was geweldig. Het resort heeft een prive safari voor ons geregeld sochtends vroeg waarin we hebben ontbeten in het nationaal park bij zonsopkomst Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen! Dus een dikke aanrader.

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. It was really nice stay! We stayed one night in the cottage and second night in the tent. We really enjoyed it! Restaurant staff were super nice and friendly! We also did safari tour with Santha - he was amazing driver and the best guide. He has really good eyes so we were lucky and saw lots of animals. Thank u! Simona and Lenka

Het Athgira River Camping - Udawalawe bevindt zich vlak bij het Nationaal Park Udawalawe en kijkt uit op de rivier Rakwana. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.
