A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Beautiful desert camp in the middle of the Wahiba desert. We booked 3 tents for our group of 6 people and all the tents are spacious with comfy beds, A/C, and bathroom. The hotel is right next to the huge sand dunes and you can easily climb up the dunes at sunrise or sunset without the need of booking their 4x4 jeep tours as the "jeep" won't go very far anyway. The view from the top of the sand dunes is beautiful and peaceful. The dinner and breakfast were also great. We ate camel meat for the first time here. Note that they will charge you extra for drinks at dinner.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. Rashid is soooo welcoming, nice and funny. There are few tents, they are far from each other, and the camp is on a peaceful area. The dinner was good.

The tent's kitchenette, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Situated in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp features accommodation with seating area. Stay was great the host Said was very kind and helpful with positive energy:)

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. i am not often giving 10 points and even 11 would be deserved . From meeting the brothers, the ride to the camp, the stories, the warm hospitality, the night under the stars everything was a blast. after arrival we enjoyed omani coffee and the sunset. than we had a delicious dinner and tea at the campfire. we opted for a sun rise camel ride, which was a highlight of our oman trip so far. the endless desert, the coffee made on open fire were amazing! the place is highly recommended for those who want simple, but real desert experience. thank you Nomadic Desert Camp!

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. To stay in a Desert Camp sleeping under the stars is a completely outstanding experience. Driving over the dunes, riding camels, sharing the local food with the family that accommodated us felt special indeed. The location of the camp is hidden, aqay from other camps or other people, so one can enjoy complete silence, darkness and inclusion with the nature. Provided breakfast and dinner had a traditional tone which we appreciated highly. Recommended!

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Exceptional stay with even greater hosts. The camp is quiet, clean and serene. Located at the top of the dunes making sunsets and sunrises particularly accesible. The tents were made for a good nights sleep the authentic food was a treat. Fayez and the team made us feel at home. We will be back! Definitely the camp of choice if looking for a calm desert stay.

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain... We stay 2 nights in the Ahmed desert camp and we really enjoyed it. Before our arrival he sent to us a lot of offered activities, so we choose - dune bashing (amazing), camel ride (great) and one day trip to desert with lunch (amazing). Ahmed is is a perfect host, which takes a full care about his guest. Meals (breakfasts, lunch and dinners) prepared by his chef were very delicious. In the evening we had a camp fire, with stars quiz and experience :-). I can fully recommend this desert camp if you want a memorable and traditional Omani experience.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. amazing experience in the beautiful sand dunes of the dessert - we wanted authentic dessert experience and stayed at the camp’s “mini lodge” - a couple of tents with a nice lounge area and facilities. The company couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating - they set up a third tent for us, from the welcoming reception in Badiyah, the friendly manager and amazing Farhad and Farouk who took care of our group of 7 for two days - everything was great. the luxury of this mini camp is in its remoteness and exclusivity of only a couple of tents, the staff only cater for you and the food they manage to prepare in the desert is delicious! extremely impressive. We did also some camel riding at sun set - the whole group loved it. beautiful paysages. As we visited end of April/beginning of May, it was very hot - unusually hot also apparently for this time, but we wanted exactly this kind of unique dessert experience. I would highly recommend the company and team.

This tent has a seating area, bathrobe and soundproofing. Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Great stay in the heart of the desert. They send us a guide to pick up us from a meeting point nearby. You need a 4wd to reach the camp. They welcomed us with coffee,juice and dates. Tent was big ,clean and very comfy with an amazing view. Available on site came ride , baby goats to feed and play with -really funny. Dinner and breakfast good on site.
