My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger area in South Africa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the lodge and its surroundings. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to a magical and unforgettable safari adventure. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. Alle accommodaties hebben een eigen badkamer met een douche, een haardroger en gratis toiletartikelen. De accommodatie verzorgt elke ochtend een continentaal ontbijt of een ontbijtbuffet. Ons leukste verblijf van onze hele rondreis. We hielden van de fijne sfeer, het voelde als een grote familie. Tent is erg mooi en goed uitgerust, de housekeeping is top. Aan alle kleine attente dingen is gedacht. Lekker en gezellig eten rond het vuur met andere gasten. Onze game drives waren top met onze gids Pieter, zoveel moois gezien! We bevelen dit kamp van harte aan.

Isambane Camp in wildreservaat Balule biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een... We have stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. Stayed in the luxury tent with waterhole view and that was amazing. Zebra’s, giraffes and many antilopes came to visit. Service and food were excellent and Angela is a really good and friendly guide. Really could have stayed longer!

De Mountain View Safari Lodge biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een balkon en uitzicht op het zwembad. Wat een fantastische plek! Tussen de giraffen, zebra’s antilopen die ook geregeld een kijkje komen nemen op een paar met van de tent vandaan! Back to basic maar toch niet helemaal met zo’n fantastische tent waarin je niets ontbreekt! En het dompelbad was een zeer aangename toevoeging!

De olifanten op de foto klopt helemaal. Absolute hoogtepunt van verblijf was ranger Dan, vraag naar hem als je hier verblijft.

Buffelshoek Tented Camp ligt in het Manyeleti-wildreservaat en biedt een tuin en een barbecue. Sabi Sand-wildreservaat bevindt zich op 34 km afstand. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Wielewaal Bush Lodge is gelegen in Marloth Park met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. Prachtige plek met bijzonder mooi en sfeervol ingerichte kamers/safaritent en eetkamer, woonkamer. Het avondeten in de boma was ook heerlijk en werd op een bijzondere manier opgediend! Alles met liefde verzorgd door lieve mensen, heel warm!
