Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Villas Macadamia - Monteverde is located in Monteverde Costa Rica. Well equipped, well maintained villa which had everything we needed. The location is great and overall everything was just perfect. We really appreciated the BBQ, washer and dryer which were a huge plus for a travelling family. Set within 26 km of Manuel Antonio National Park and 16 km of Rainmaker Costa Rica in Quepos, Hacienda Mil Bellezas provides accommodation with seating area. These two guest houses are nestled in a magnificent jungle landscape on the grounds of a small farm. There are horses, chickens, a cat and two dogs. We particularly liked the paradisiacal jungle river, where you can also swim. The hosts are incredibly helpful and nice and make a great breakfast and dinner for their guests in the open-air kitchen. We felt very comfortable there.

YerbaBuena Modern Stay in the Cloud Forest offers accommodation for small and large families and groups. Great place - multiple buildings, some with hotel-like rooms (but very spacious) and some that were for a family. Shared building in middle of compound with kitchen and living area (and where the wifi worked best!). Lovely grounds with lots of places to sit and bird/animal watch. Easy walk to multiple restaurants and a small market - location was great. 10-15 minute walk to Monteverde centro, 30-40 minute walk to St Elena centro. The "compound" would be amazing for a family trip where people want to have both shared and private space.

Boasting pool with a view and views of sea, Villas en el Bosque is a recently renovated villa situated in Ojochal, 1.2 km from Tortuga. Hostess Vanessa is so caring, relaxed and cool, we immediately felt at home. The walk to the beach is a great adventure (15 minutes through the jungle), we were able to observe great animals almost continuously (monkeys without end!). Great breakfast, great view from the balcony, overall a very good vibe there. Supermarket and fine restaurants are right next door, we definitely recommend staying here for a few nights.

Quirky little place with space in higher floor. Beautiful views from up there of the stars at night. Pool was good to have at the end of a hard day.

Situated in Monteverde, Costa Rica within 3.6 km of Sky Adventures Monteverde and 5 km of Selvatura Adventure Park, Lidia's Mountain View Vacation Homes provides accommodation with free WiFi, seating... Lydia and her family were very hospitable and made sure we were well looked after. Her property is a great find and just a few minutes walk away from restaurants and shops, with an amazing view of the mountains. They were very helpful in terms of organizing transport and tours for us. Perfect place for 2 couples and great value for money.

Offering free WiFi and a garden,Villas Solar is a collection of four villas in the heart of Santa Teresa. Located just a 3 minutes' walk to the beach popular for surfing, shops and restaurants. Villas Solar exceeded our expectations. Greg, the host was helpful and super responsive to any question we had. The outdoor space is beautiful and surrounded by green, and was a lovely place to have meals. The inside was spacious, and furniture and beds are comfy and all very clean. Kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook your own meals. We worked remotely from there for the week and the wifi was fast and reliable for 2 people to be on video calls. There was even a backup network and power source. We needed a place to work after we checked out and Greg was incredibly accommodating in letting us work from one of the open downstairs spaces. 10/10 would recommend this place for any kind of stay!!

Cabañas Hoja Verde holiday homes are located in Monteverde, Costa Rica within the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Monteverde Botanical Garden is 1.7 km away from the homes. super nice little hut with green surroundings just five minutes away from santa elena - you need a car! Everything super clean and new, patio with view in the garden lying on a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and owen. Seating area for four.

Located in the Escaleras Mountains, Villas Alturas has an outdoor pool with stunning views of Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. The staff was excellent. The view and breakfast were fantastic!
