We would highly recommend El Peregrino to anyone visiting Ometepe. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cleaned every day, there is a mosquito/insect screen door so your room is always comfortable plus a fan in the room. The location is great, base yourself here with a scooter, there is no need to stay on the other side of the island. The communal areas make it easy to mix with other people and you are embedded in nature. José the owner was incredibly helpful to us throughout our stay. The kitchen was excellent. The garden was full of fruit and veg which we were free to use. Amazing place!

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

Ubytovanie Casa Papaki sa nachádza 4,7 km od miesta Maderas Volcano. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, záhradu, spoločenskú miestnosť a terasu. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely dinner and staff who helped as much as they could. Location was great and really appreciated the information prior to the stay about prices for taxis etc. There are also buses that go past here.

Set in Moyogalpa, Casa de Gio offers free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchenette and seating area. Some units have a dining area and/or a patio. Free filtered water, good communal kitchen and fridge, location is close to everything but still quiet at night, nice chill out area with hammocks. A couple of rooms have the option for AC at an extra cost. The staff is wonderful. The facilities are cleaned exhaustively every day and everyone is super helpful with anything you may need. Recommended!

Ubytovanie La Sirenita - Ometepe sa nachádza v destinácii Altagracia 6,2 km od miesta Maderas Volcano. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, súkromné parkovisko, terasu a bar. The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Abel and Lucy are amazing hosts with extremely beautiful place directly by the lake with sunset view. Around the rooms there is big garden with many trees and plants, and this is literally an artist house with even a small gallery of Abels painitings! Lucy is an artist in the kitchen, we tried Fish (fried and a caldo), repochetas (tortillas with beans, veggies and Cheese - super nice!), pasta and chicken and we loved each of those food. Place is very clean also. One of the best places I've been to in Nicaragua so far.

Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tatiana was the best of host, she deserve a medal, she oriented us to the best activities, Location to eat, and she rented us scooter at the best price. the chicken bus allows to go everywhere from just the front of the hostel to the rest of Ometepe: what a place !
