He knows the city inside out and will give you tips on where to go and what to do - or even take you there personally. The hostel itself is just gorgeous (actually it's the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed at). It is a beautiful old villa with a fantastic view of Rios bay and a refreshing pool. Trust me, there's nothing better than jumping into the pool after a hot day of sightseeing and to socialize with other backpackers. If you are looking for a beautiful, central place to stay where you can easily meet other backpackers and love a good pool party, this is definitely the best place to stay in Rio!
