The Embassie is a 200 years old, vintage mansion and the first hostel in Liverpool. Located in the Georgian Quarter, the property is a 12 minutes walk from the city center. It features a 24-hour desk, free WiFi, free breakfast, shared kitchen, TV communal area and dining room. Free parking is available upon request.

It is a lovely 18th century period town house in an equally lovely setting, overlooking an inviting tree-lined garden square with spectacular views of the Cathedral. A lovely convivial atmosphere, the staff are always polite and welcoming. A lot of musical guitar strumming guests belting out songs and poetry first thing morning. Feels more like a home than a hotel. Sheer enchantment. Breakfast is complementary, served with the best filter coffee around, made with fresh arabica beans, very addictive!

The room was very spacious and we had a sitting place in it. The bathroom was new and super comfortable. We were in the basement but really it did not feel like it.

Great location for Anfield literally 2 mins down the road look left and Anfield is less than 10 mins walk away, very clean and amazing facilities, helpful host and finally probably best of all insane value for money as good as the other whole houses on the site but noticeably cheaper couldn’t recommend enough.

Very clean, quiet, safe hotel above the pub. We had room 3 which was compact and ideal for a short stay. Pleasantly decorated and cosy. The heater was very effective for the cold weather. Also there was a fan for hotter days. Having key to main entrance door meant we didn't have to keep disturbing the reception/bar staff. We took the opportunity to enjoy their delicious Sunday roast. Great location for Philharmonic Hall shows and other Liverpool main sites.

Great location. I booked it a few months in advance and few days before, found it £50 cheaper so cancelled and rebooked. Shower was great, really powerful. Room was small but ok if you are just using it as place to stay

Great location - slap-bang in the middle of Liverpool. Parking was right around the back (although hardly a secure car-park). Room was fine, if a bit dated and spartan. A cheap hotel in price and experience. Ideal for me as I was staying for one night only on a budget, but would not recommend anyone seeking a quality stay.

Rooms very clean, excellent location directly next door to James Street Station if your arriving or leaving via here u only have to walk to next doorway so perfect for that. Across road there is a weather spoons for breakfast. Short walk to Mathew Street and Cavern club. Hotel is a 5 min walk from waterfront . It’s a great location as the price was so cheap, couldn’t go wrong. Ideal for a budget stay.
