I stayed at City Backpackers for a few nights and it's an amazing place! They have a pool table, free coffee and tea, and breakfast. You can also buy beer there. It's quiet at night, which is great. The showers are good and have hot water. The staff are really amazing people. It's right next to the main road where there are lots of restaurants. In the evening, there's a night market close by with lots of local stuff to see and buy. Also, the wifi works well!

This hostel is truly great and I cant recommend it more! The reception guy Tino is super friendly and helpful, extremely sweet and careful, always there if you need something. The room is clean and spacious, each bed has curtains, a charging socket and a lamp. You are provided with a towel with having to pay anything. The bathrooms were clean and the toilet paper & soap were not miss

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! Location is great, walking distance from major sightseeing attractions. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and served on beautiful terrace with river views! Added bonus are the cute dogs roaming around and the possibility to book buses or trains directly at the hostel. Super recommended!

Honestly my favourite Mad Monkey stay so far. Had all the classic Monkey amenities - pool, restaurant, Bar, reception with booking services and TukTuks out front waiting to give you a ride into town. Maybe it's because it's a bit smaller or off the main strip of town but everything is just a bit nicer at this one. The bunks are spacious and have great storage, the hot water is there right away, the wifi works and you don't have to hike up stairs to get to your room. There is still plenty of social energy in the evening and the ride to bowling leaves at midnight!
