We had the best stay here! This small quiet hostel is in the perfect location if you have come to Oslob to see the whale sharks. It's right opposite the entrance to the walk in tickets but also if you want to explore it's an easy 15 mins motorcycle or TukTuk ride into Oslob town. We found Oslob so charming and authentic, all the people are so welcoming and friendly. Ken who is the main host at Way Shack is brilliant. He made our 2 nights stay in Oslob so relaxing and helped us with everything. He has good English so easy to communicate with and is very professional and personable. The room is basic but clean and comfortable with a large space for luggage.

I stayed in the dorm. Bed was really comfy, they even have AC. Cold shower but well for the price paid it’s not important. They are very nice, they let me use the kitchen and I had a typical Filipino dessert with them. Close to the dive center and everything. Thanks guys!

Relaxing atmosphere and the property is on the edge of the sea. Magic little place for a budget conscious traveller. All night staff member and gates are shut at night, making it a secure and safe place to stay. I would have liked to stay longer 😁
