The location is perfect - 5 min away from Super Chatel lift and next to the shuttle stop (if you ever need it). The accommodation is clean, has everything you need, and most importantly, the host (Tomas) is amazing!!! Super friendly and responsive, makes it easy to check in even at midnight!

Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Guests can enjoy views of the Châtel waterfall. Nice atmosphere, friendly and clean and decent value. One member of staff helpfully left us a key for a late check in, when we were delayed - I hope we didn't wake the other guests! The breakfast the following morning was reasonable value for a family. A nice setting, worth exploring further.

The bright rooms are traditionally furnished. Bathrooms are shared. Excellent stay, great location, right by the town hall and view of Lake Geneva ! :) Will visit again ! Staff was brilliant.

Youth Hostel Lausanne’s functionally furnished rooms have private or shared bathrooms. What I absolutely loved was the breakfast buffet and also the public transport ticket which is also included in the price. The architecture is beautiful, minimal and brutalist with exposed steel and concrete. During my stay, the vibe was in a way business casual, people would have early breakfast and head out for work, in the evening there were people engaged in calm and quiet conversations over a cup of tea or a glass of wine. In general the place was very peaceful and quiet during my stay of 3 nights.
