Nice and clean place in the peaceful country side close to Hexham and some of the main sights along Hadrian's Wall.
Nick was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was a quiet week so had the whole place to myself, but everything I needed was at the hostel/bunkhouse.
Basic breakfast available for a cheap price, good WiFi, beautiful nature surroundings and quiet so I could get a good night's sleep. Good budget accommodation to stay for a few nights.
Hexham is a 17 minutes drive with bus, the bus came only every second hour, but was always on time, so getting back and forth was relatively easy.

Great location, clean, safe secure bike storage.
Great hotel, friendly staff who looked after us well. Family room with double & bunk bed worked well for us. Food & beer also very good. Dog was made to feel very welcome as well. Great location for exploring Hadrian's Wall.
Quirky, spacious, cheap & great location
Lovely clean warm hostel. Not my first stay, but every bit as comfortable as before. Slept in a dormitory room, good value for money.
Really nicely furnished property, hot tub was ready on arrival, great location. We had a 1 year old and 3 year old and property was safe and secure for them.
Great location for seeing all area's of Northumberland, very comfortable lodge, quiet, relaxed get away and not overlooked, amazing hot tub with a wonderful decked area, safe for dog as well as little ones. The site is very maintained, clean and tidy. Crazy horse saloon bar a great place to chillax and ear, do a mean pulled pork and dirty fries. Hosts were very prompt in replying and resolved any queries in a timely manner. Can't wait for another great stay
Great location and a good price per person. Staff responded quickly to the issue we reported (no temperature markings on the oven), and although they weren't able to offer a solution we felt safe using, they were as helpful as they could have been given the circumstances. Hot tub was absolutely marvellous to relax in, especially given the amount of walking that we did every day! Shower had great power and temperature, and all seven of us were able to get individual showers without the hot water running out.
A lovely youth hostel. Perfect location for our stay- we were using public transport, and all of the excellent local buses stopped right outside the youth hostel. The room and facilities were clean and provided what we needed. There was a well equipped games room, including pool, table football and table tennis, which many younger guests seemed to be enjoying.
Location was perfect for cycling the C2C, very cheap clean dormitory room. Lovely old building converted in to hostel, lots of space to relax inside and out. Very nice to be able to use the sister hotel across the road for breakfast and dinner, which were both brilliant.
