Lofoten Å HI hostel ligger i Å, og har terrasse, gratis WiFi og avgiftsfri privat parkering. Alle rommene har hårføner, sengetøy og tilgang til felles bad. We had a short stay, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals. One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there. Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

Set in Narvik, Stetind Hostel features a garden, shared lounge and terrace. At the hostel, each room comes with a wardrobe. At Stetind Hostel every room has a shared bathroom and bed linen. Friendly and very helpful owner. Great location for climbing Stetind and many other nice mountains in the area.

Bodø Hostel & Motel ligger i samme bygning som Bodø jernbanestasjon, og tilbyr rom med gratis WiFi og flatskjerm-TV. På stedet finner du et felleskjøkken og et vaskerom. I only stayed for a night, but I found the bed and shower both very comfortable. The location is also very convenient for that kind of stay, as the hostel is in the same building as the train station (and a short walk from the ferry quay).

Sjømannskirken Narvik ligger 300 meter fra Narvik museum i Narvik og har hage, terrasse, en felles salong og gratis privat parkering. Overnattingsstedet tilbyr grill og familierom. I have been to many hostels, but this one definitely had the best facilities I have ever seen in a hostel. Also comfortable furniture.

Lofotr Overnatting ligger i Bøstad. Overnattingsstedet har et felleskjøkken og en fellesstue. Rommene på vandrerhjemmet har et lite felles bad, og WiFi er gratis i fellesområdene. Great location for the Viking Museum (which was great). Otherwise facilities were good and met expectations. The kitchen was amazing with lots of great equipment. The other guests were very quiet and there was zero sense of community.
