However, please be advised that renovations and construction work are still ongoing to the exterior of the beachfront building. Our garden and poolside units are fully operational and ready for you to experience. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to making your stay comfortable despite the ongoing improvements. Thank you for your continued support! Beachfront Terraces offers self-contained apartments for guests wanting a beachside location in Port Douglas. The 1 & 2 bedroom air conditioned apartments are set around the gardens and swimming pool of the complex and some have stunning uninterrupted views across the Esplanade of the palm tree lined 4 Mile Beach and sparkling Coral Sea. The surf lifesaving patrol area and swimming enclosure is also located close by, so year round ocean swimming is a hop, skip and a jump away. Macrossan Street is within easy walking distance so you can relax and enjoy all the award winning restaurants, cafes and shops that Port Douglas has to offer. Within 10 minutes is the Reef Marina which is where all the boats depart from for a day snorkeling and diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Please note that the reception for Beachfront Terraces is located at “Beaches Port Douglas “just next door at 19 The Esplanade. There is no lift access at this property. There is a small beachside café located next to Beachfront Terraces on The Esplanade and they are open for breakfast & lunch. The Surf lifesaving club is close by and offers lunch & dinner in their restaurant.

We recommend pre booking airport transfers to avoid lengthy delays on arrival at Cairns Airport. These can be booked directly with reception at least 72 hours prior to arrival to allow us to confirm with the transfer company all necessary details.
