You will find my second home to be an airy, spacious 1350 square foot townhome. A corner unit, it boasts a spacious side yard with trees and flowering shrubs. The back yard, with a privacy fence, has a covered patio and a covered back deck, each with patio furniture. With a fully equiped kitchen and an eight-chair dining room, you have plenty of space for meals and gatherings. The living room includes a flat screen smart TV, workspace and hi speed wifi. You’ll also enjoy the fully refurbished 1/2 bath on the hall. Upstairs you will find a queen size bed in the master bedroom with two walk in closets. The guest bedroom also has a walkin closet with a bunk bed futon that will accomodate three. So, altogether you can sleep seven. The master bath includes a full laundry and large vanity. There are two offstreet parking spaces and additional parking nearby in the cul de sac. I converted this townhome from an annual rental to a second home and short-term rental and refurbished it to my tastes as a living space. If something breaks, text me. My maintenance person will respond. If your stay extends and you need cleaning service before check out, the cleaning person will respond.
I purchased this townhome from my daughter and her husband when they moved out of state, so it has personal significance to me. After renting it as an annual leased property, I've completely refurbished it as a second home and I stay here regularly. I enjoy cooking, so having a good kithcen is crucial. And having a Sprouts, a Kroger, a Publix, and Toast Beverages nearby makes that so much easier. I also enjoy writing and reading, so a well lit iving room with a workspace gets lots of usage. And, I enjoy being outdoors, so the covered patio and covered back deck have become hangout spaces. It's especially relaxing to sit out when it rains.
I especially enjoy the location, central to shopping and restaurants and 4.6 miles from Augusta National. Access to I 20 and Bobby Jones Parkway is nearby as well. And, I enjoy the surroundings—the trees and creek across the street in front and the field and pond across the road out the master bedroom French doors onto the balcony. I’m amazed how quiet it can be when the traffic abates in the early morning and evening. You'll find a variety of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Just about anything you need retail-wise is within ten to fifteen minutes.
