The cabin is located on well-maintained, paved roads in a neighborhood of other vacation rentals. It is usually no problem accessing the cabin using a 2WD vehicle, including in winter. If you are visiting in winter, however, check the weather report just in case. The whole area is fairly hilly, although there are no major hills to climb to get to the cabin. A safe and wooded cul-de-sac makes Alexander Place a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the nearby parkway. For being so close to the Parkway, it is secluded and quiet and feels a world away from the action.
