There's so much more to do and see in Santa Cruz - the rides and games of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (one mile), shops and art galleries downtown (one mile), and serene hikes through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (eight miles). When you're not getting around on foot or by bike, a single parking spot is provided (a rarity in this area). Beach days are a breeze here, with chairs, an umbrella, and even boogie boards provided for your use.
