We came back after years especially to fresh up memories since the time we used to live in the area. The owner of the place are just wonderful and the night with Jazz in The side door ( next to place) was the reason we came to this very unique place. The Jazz Brunch on Sunday morning we enjoyed a lot too! The rooms are lovely and you feel a little bit like coming home. We have to come back during winter to light up the 🔥 fire in the room.

The Griswold Inn has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Essex. Located around 18 km from Goodspeed Opera House, the inn with free WiFi is also 35 km away from Wesleyan University. I mean the room looked like from museum except for it was my room. The hotel is since 1776. I was super happy I chose it. One of a life time experience for me!

Location, Location, Location! This property is across the street from "The Hole in the Wall Beach" and Niantic's Boardwalk, one of the longest boardwalks in CT over 1 mile long. The place is very comfortable and cozy. It’s pretty close to the shore. The room we had was very spacious, with a lovely kitchen and dining table. We asked for a baby crib and they give us one, that was great.

This Comfort Inn features an indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The property is 14 minutes’ drive from Foxwoods Casino. Beautiful facility with nice open entry. Loved the fireplace and stairway -- sort of reminiscent of the inn from the Newhart show.

This Middletown inn is 10 minutes’ walk from fishing and boating in the Connecticut River and Wesleyan University is 5 minutes’ walk away. Outstanding service. Especially front desk and morning restaurant hostess. But everyone was kind, professional, accommodating. Truly impressive.
