A quick 30 minute ride to the Whitsunday islands. Bring everything you need in the island - lovely beach with calm waters. The operators sometimes have volleyballs and stuff that you can borrow. I would recommend the full day trip as you get only 2 hours with the half day trip. Better with friends as there is plenty of room for some games to be played.
