GreeceEverything about this stay was exceptional and very well thought. Our queen standard room was adequate for our needs, there is a small closet, and storage throughout the room, around the bed, bedside table and on the stand alone basin/make up station. The separate wc/ shower saved us so much time and the small fridge could fit a leftover dessert and couple snacks and drinks. Most importantly, the mattress and linen were of great quality, despite my jet lag, was able to sleep comfortably. Other things to note was the quiet environment, it might have been our case, although the hotel was packed for the nine days we stayed at. Thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary coffee/tea/water/ice that was provided by the lobby area. Last but not least, the area felt safe and very convenient for exploring most areas of Manhattan and even the Dumbo of Brooklyn. Thank you guys!

First on my list when I go to Brooklyn is always the DUMBO flea market! So many great finds, be it vintage, handmade, up and coming artists trying to sell their unique items from tiny hand crocheted earrings, key chains or even life size flowers, to artisan liquor. Have a great lunch at a great restaurant located under the bridge, I believe the name is something like Little River Cafe. You can take the ferry from Manhattan and get off on the other side of the river, the restaurant is next to the ferry landing station. One of the best walks is to do the High line which starts at The Standard Hotel. The Downtown bus tour is also excellent and you can hop on and off at your leisure to see many of the best spots. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes and cruising round Central Park.
