Excellent place to stay in Los Angeles. The price was just perfect, reasonable and affordable, and the room and location were very quiet. I loved staying in a classic old-school style US motel. The owner was helpful and welcoming, and I appreciated the extra blanket he provided as it was chilly! The fridge in the room was also helpful, as were the two communal microwaves. Redondo Beach Metro station is within walking distance to travel to LAX and other parts of LA. There's a good Jack in the Box fast food place nearby, as well as a Target supermarket. The area felt safe.

We loved our 2 nights at the Seaside Motel. We were warmly welcomed by the motel’s longtime, respectful owner who guided us to all the important local addresses. The motel was in a good neighborhood with everything close by including groceries, restaurants and Hermosa beach where we swam and even saw dolphins and seals! Finally, at the present time the motel is by far the best bang for your buck in the LA area.

I loved how generally clean the room was I'm always impressed with how clean those two ladies keep the rooms and they're bringing the right type of people in there and they're not destroying the rooms I always have a good experience at the Hawthorne Plaza Inn
