- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,026 reviewsThis Park was amazing!! It has everything you need when your away from home travelling with whānau. Travelling from NZ to support of NZ DSOX Boys & Girls taking part in the U16 State Championship Softball tournament, our first attraction, The Waterpark!!! The kids L.O.V.E.D it. It keep them entertained for hours and they got to meet lots of other kids from other areas of Australia (were kiwi 😁) we also invited our softball families to bring their families for a swim and play and even they were in love with the Waterpark, gutted they'd missed out on staying here! 2nd was Staff, staff were so helpful, our conversation flowed very easily with Mar, as we came to acknowledge eachothers whakapapa, as Maori do and we connected on familiar grounds. 3rd was how well maintained the Park was kept, on a daily you would see staff zooming (not literal) with a smile around rooms cleaning taking out rubbish chatting to others who are staying it was a breath of fresh air really coming from another country. We were welcomed from the very beginning. Discovery Parks Rockhampton was our first travel overseas post Covid as a family, and travelling with a 3yr old and we are stoked to have chosen to stay here. We'll keep this place at the very top of our "must go back list" thanks guys for such an amazing stay we thoroughly enjoyed every moment staying here, a big mihi to Marz for making us feel like we were home you made it that much special seeing a familiar face around the park even though we didnt know you (if that makes sense hahah!)Guest review byJas & KenNew Zealand

Historic waterfront precint better than Adelaide or Hobart..
Historic waterfront precint better than Adelaide or Hobart....a must visit 2. Cafe, Bakeries, etc were very good........especially Coffee Club on Quay Street, the Artizen Gluten Free Bakery, Malaysia House, and at the Rocky Brewery. 3. Explore town riding the local Bus services 4. The 1909 Steam Tram ride at the Archer ParkRail Museum....only steam Tram still running in the world 5. Worlds only proposed Olympic Rowing Course with crocerdiles in the whole wide world.......an incentive for crews to row faster then they ever have before.Guest review bypeterAustralia - 10.0

Gladstone has so many beautiful parks walks and water fronts to spend your time in. A large variety of restaurants and plenty of shops and things to do. The nightlife also doesn’t disappoint, there are quite a few venues to choose from to go for a dance, an evening meal or to sit for a few drinks with live music. The locals were all very polite and friendly and helpful, it’s a very family friendly city and we think has a lot to offer.Guest review bysabrinaAustralia - 6.0
I go to Bundaberg about once a month.
I go to Bundaberg about once a month. Mainly for shopping, banking and medical appointments. And in the last 4 year's the traffic is horrendous. A lot of inconsiderate driver's. Harder to get parking spot's in the main part of town . And the parking lot's of only 10 min's is ridiculous. Parked there to use an ATM. No ATMs working . It makes you stress out. And they want a cashless society, I hope not. But Bundaberg have their nice spot's, so it's not all bad. We had dinner at Sang's Asian Fusion, a lovely restaurant, good food and lovely service. always eat there or order from there when we stay in Bundaberg.Guest review byRosalind - 10.0

Lovely oasis in the Central Highlands that has everything you need and the Botanical Gardens are a must-see. Also take a peak at the painting of the giant sunflower in Emerald.Lake Maraboon is nearby and we’ll worth a visit as are the gem field towns like Ruby and Sapphire. An hour’s drive away is the lovely town of Clermont where there is a wonderful museum that documents the history of the region. Great place to visit.Guest review byLeigh - 10.0

Bargara is small and very laid back. it is easy to drive around and not a lot of traffic. We enjoyed coffee at Rick's cafe in the heart of Bargara. We aso enjoyed having lunch at the Bargara Bowling Club. On another occasion we took outselves over to Burnett Heads where we enjoyed the local fish and chips around the Marina. We love walking and Bargara certainly is the place to do lots of enjoyable walks especially alongside the beachfront. The walking paths, along with plenty of seating and restrooms have been well organised by the local council. Cannot wait to return net year.Guest review byJenniferAustralia - 10.0
Lovely relaxed spot for a beach holiday.
Lovely relaxed spot for a beach holiday. Recommend the LARC tour from 1770 - very knowledgeable guide and a bit different to other tours. Many interesting things to see and do. Some great walks. Old fashioned but very interesting museum with exhibits on Cook, Flinders and locals.Guest review byVictoriaAustralia - 8.0
