My room was facing the lake Brienz so you can only but imagine the breathtaking views from it. Just spectacular!. The location in itself is spectacular. it was a lovely surprise to walk in the room, open the balcony door and pfffffff the VIEWS! The room was enough. I was alone and it was enough for 1. The bed was super super comfortable. Just how i love it! we had evening drinks and breakfast in the hotel on the next day and the staff was very lovely & attentive! Overall, a great one night stay at the Hotel Châlet du Lac.

We so loved staying at the Grandhotel Giessbach. It was truly outstanding in every way. The location above beautiful Lake Brienz is stunning. The old funicular down to the lake is a must. Not to mention observing the fast and full flowing waterfall. The rooms were large and delightfully furnished for the bygone era. As were the public sitting rooms. The restaurant was excellent. We only wish we could have stayed longer. It is a very popular location - book early and plan a minimum of a 2 night stay.

I booked the cheapest single room which was only slightly more than what other places were charging for a shared dorm room. My room was much nicer than expected with a lovely balcony overlooking Lake Brienz. Hotel is run by a lovely old lady Monique and her daughter and has a really friendly family feel. They have lots of interesting original historic tourist posters, one of which I was able to buy as a souvenir. I look forward to bringing my family here next time we are in Switzerland.

Loved the location, the space, the balcony views of Lake Brienz and one of the best hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Parking was plentiful in the area and reasonably priced at 5 CHF a day between 7am and 7pm. The train station is an easy walk. We were able to walk to rent a boat and to the wildlife park. This is a great (less touristy) area to base yourself and explore this part of Switzerland.

loved the area. bonigen is a really nice small neighbourhood and very well connected by bus from interlaken. the bus drops u at the beautiful lake brienz from where the apartment is only a 2 minute walk. had e everything u would need in the kitchen. Christine was very helpful with all our queries. apartment is not very new but still very very comfortable. loved the shower. would surely recommend

The location was excellent.. very closed to the train station and the view of Lake Brienz was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the walks around the lake. Closed to other amenities as well. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and the host was very kind enough to provide some basics cooking needs like cooking oil, salt, sugar and some spices. That was really appreciated.

Great central location to most of the touristic sites, great view from the balcony of lake Brienz and surrounding mountains including the apartment being very clean and comfortable. The host was quick to answer a couple of questions that we had while we were there. The town of Brienz is very nice to walk around at any time especially along the path near the lake..

The warm hospitality of lady owner & the cleanliness of the apartment. There were chocolates on the table welcoming us and complimentary (regional) bustickets to be used during our stay. You'll get 10% disc if you wanna enjoy the boat trip on the beautiful lake Brienz in front of the house, to ride the oldest funiculaire of Giessbach waterfall, etc..

We stayed at this beautiful apartment during our trip to Switzerland, I would only say that stay ws WONDERFUL. Apartment was very clean and located in top of the Axalp mountain and route to the apartment itself was filled with thrilling and beautiful views of Lake Brienz. Ruby at Reception was very helpful and kind.. I would totally recommend this property

Amazing views, big rooms, great service and excellent pizza. All you get in a quaint part of interlaken town. Hotel is right in front of lake brienz and a cruise and speed boat is right in front of property. It’s connected to interlaken ost via a bus that is in every 30 mins. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a property with views, service and food.

The apartment is very nice , just across the street is Lake Brienz .It's swiss chalet style The decaration is cozy ,feel comfortable. The kitchen is equiped with everything , microwave, oven ,fridge. Parking is very easy ,2 lake car parks opposite the apartment and have lots of space . There is coop supermarket nearby , Host is very nice .

Location is great. It is right around Lake Brienz. Walking distance (longer walk) to the train station and to Lake Brienze. We did have a car, walk to station would be about 12-15 minutes, but coming back may be hard as it is uphill. We loved the view from the house, and had a beautiful garden and balcony to enjoy the mountains.

Excellent spot with private balcony overlooking lake Brienz. Close to station and ferry. Lovely local hotels and shops. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was quiet and there was a private garden which was nice. There was a good washer/dryer which was great for us with small children,

The apartment was in a beautiful location close to the lakefront of Lake Brienz. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. There was a terrace with a table and benches for eating outside with a view and a balcony as well. It was a serene location and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location has the amazing views of Lake Brienz. Picturesque. Our rooms had the balcony with the lakeview! The rooms were very clean! Our Switzerland trip had been more memorable because we are enjoyed our accomodation. We will definitely come back.

Location, the view, really boutique style old but romantic hotel. Great stuff,great breakfast We will definitely stay again when in the area. We had smaller room on the top,right under the roof with amazing view of lake Brienz

The apartment was only about 5 minutes walk from the Brienz train station and nicely located nearby the Coop, a bank and a really good pizzeria. The view of Lake Brienz was amazing and the facilities were complete.

Free bus pass is provided the hotel and very near to the bus stop... Very easy to reach Interlaken Ost and West stations... Ringgenberg also has a ferry stop if you are taking the boat cruise for Lake Brienz....

Excellence location, right in front of Ferry and train station with clear view of Lake Brienz. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was cooperative. Rooms were spacious with hot shower facility.

Beautiful location with a beautiful view of Lake Brienz. We had a spectacular view of the lake and the hotel was really beautiful! We really enjoyed the accommodations.
