Located in Frasco in the Verzasca Valley, Albergo Familienhotel Campagna offers panoramic mountain views and free WiFi access in the restaurant. The hotel is well designed for families with a playroom inside and a playground outside. The staff was very friendly and the food good.

Located in Lavertezzo, 10 miles from Piazza Grande Locarno, Osteria Vittoria provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I love the hotel’s location along the Verzasca River, the staff, the accommodations and the restaurant. Really, everything! A beautiful waterfall is located right next to the hotel…you can eat on the patio with the sound waterfall and the sight of the water. The river is directly across the street and the Ponte dei Salti bridge is in the immediate area…maybe 500 yards up the road. There are nice (and long) hiking trails, numerous rustic towns to visit, and the Verzasca Dam is just down the road. The hotel staff is very warm and inviting, and I was relieved to find they had an English speaker (actually, several) on staff.

Overlooking the surrounding mountains, Ai piee offers quiet rooms and a restaurant in the scenic Verzasca Valley. A river runs by the house which you can swim in. Everything was wonderful! From Davide and the staff who took great care of us, to the very clean and comfortable rooms, and finally to the great location in the middle of the Sonogno-Lavertezzo trail which was for great for us, as the weather was a bit unpredictable and it allowed us to adapt faster to the changing conditions. Thank you for the great (although too short) stay!

14 miles from Piazza Grande Locarno in Brione, Casa Rossa features accommodations with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub, and open-air bath. We had an incredible time staying at Casa Rossa! Excellent facilities, including hot tub and e-bike hire. Lovely food in the restaurant next door. Welcoming host, very helpful. Beautiful location, peaceful with stunning views! Would definitely recommend!

Location is a bit away from center which makes a very nice view! Everything was ready towels, beds, soft/hot drinks and has a cozy feeling. House is from concrete stable and safe, would definitely stay another night!
