Luxury big comfortable bed with insane view across the river and mountain. perfect spot to recover from jet lag. The pool area is beautiful. Deck chairs, lounges with views to the mountain and river. there’s a grass area with lounges, hammocks to sit and read. or with a group you can do bbq. fire pits. also a fire pit on our balcony we cooked dinner. The local minimart has fine selection local beef and river fish. we loved our stay. the staff are so helpful and attentive. Fantastic experience ❤️

Completely surrounded by mountains. Wineries were 40mins away.

SEL Lodge - Aventura y Descanso features an outdoor swimming pool and a spa in Cajon del Maipo. It offers free Wi-Fi and Continental breakfast. Lagunilla ski centre is 25 km away. A very tranquil spot for a few days. Lovely guests aswell and everyone is friendly. Perfect for relaxing by the pool. You can buy what you need close by in town but there's also a great restaurant on site that is very good value. Breakfast included and it was an amazing place to stay.

Hotel Altiplanico Cajón del Maipo er staðsett í heillandi húsi sem búið var til úr við og leir og er umkringt stórum garði með sundlaug. My husband and I made our first trip to the area, and the hotel was phenomenal! The mountain retreat location was so peaceful and calm, it was just what we needed. The meals were lovely and robust. Because we had never been to the area before, we had lots of questions about local activities, and got so much help in planning our stay. The hot tub was just perfect on a clear winter night for stargazing! The sauna was also a nice splurge. We also got massages on site which were well done and very affordable.

I was unwell during the night, the staff there have been really kind to find me migraine medicine.

The lodge is in a beautiful location on the banks of the Maipo River. It was ideal for our travelling group (5 persons/3 rooms) for our two night stay. As it is 14kms from the town centre of San Jose de Maipo and, even considering there are a few dining options within 5kms, we decided to eat in and use the BBQ facilities. While this means going to the supermarket for essentials it was well worth it, relaxing on the deck with good Chilean wine. The owner, Christian, set the BBQs up and got the fires going (his specialty). The cabins are well appointed and the sound of the Maipo River is music to the ears. Communication with the owner is via WhatsApp and his responses were always immediate.

The house was well equiped, but it could use a little renovation, the spaces were great, we got to visit some close restaurants and the food was very good.
