Selvatica's location, just minutes from the town center, provided the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, featuring nice sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. Nearby, a cute shop had goodies, water and other local stuff. Also, Francisco let me store my bag pack in the property after check-out because I was going to the waterfalls. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Selvatica as one of the best stays in Bajos del Toro. Thank you, Francisco, for creating such a memorable experience. Can't wait to return to this hidden paradise!

Offering a restaurant on-site, Bosque de Paz Reserva Biologica is located in Alajuela. The property features a large terrace offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. We loved how peaceful and secluded this place is. Mario treated us really well and showed us a lot of different animals and gave us great local tips. The food was also excellent and home made. Rooms are spacious and clean! You have several paths leading from the property to the forest.
