Set in Providencia, 26 mi from Manuel Antonio, Hotel Savegre features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. The road in and out is not for the weary. We didn't know it was an amazing place for Birding. The entire place is beautiful and worth the trip. The hiking is wonderful. 700 year old trees! The room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay longer next time to take advantage of the area.

Quiet, safe, and beautiful location, lovely building, beautifully decorated. This hotel was designed to emulate a cozy home, and you definitely feel at home when you stay there. Adorable cats and a dog create a warm home-like atmosphere. A pool with a wonderful view of the city and sunset. Delicious breakfasts. All of the staff were so so lovely and helpful, nothing was a bother to them. We've decided to stay in this hotel every time we come to San Jose. Thank you so much for welcoming us!

Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

Very nice place with an amazing view and really comfortable beds. While some people were complaining about cold temperatures, we cannot agree. One of the few stays with very a hot and strong shower, rooms were not cold and tons of bedsheets were provided. Food was also great.

Starting from the best staff we have met in CR, then the beautiful and specious cabañas with anything you may need, to the trails and other activities like horse riding, etc. All was perfect. We even saw quetzals each day. Thank you very much :)
