I was cycling the St Malo to Nice route (France en Velo) and Altier proved a perfect stop on the way. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly. My bike was safe and the room very generously proportioned. The food was amazing, sourcing local products while being great value. This was my favourite stop of the entire trip.

The place where the castle is situated is really fantastic, I was very delighted with a yoga spot in front of the hills, the dinner was super tasty. And of course a very comfortable room. Would love to come back once again.

This place is wonderful, just what we we had looked for: authentic hotel, family managed and a very delicious kitchen. Pool area is super relaxing and we could even go for a swim mid April. Definitely want to come back to this beautiful place.
