During a trip to the highlands we decided to stay a night at Aviemore. The apartment we got has a wonderful price and was excellent. It was very well equipped with a large kitchen and living area. It had a separate bedroom. Everything was very clean and conformt and we were very satisfied. It was the best value for money in our entire trip and while we did not pay a lot we were more happy compared to other places who charged more money.

Cambus O' May Hotel has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Ballater. This was a perfect stay. I wish it was longer. Great location for what we needed. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and knew a lot about the area. The home is well appointed but kept in a very traditional manner, very clean, and beds comfortable. The dinner we had was the best food we had while visiting Scotland. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel at a great location. Very easy access to the restaurant and the bothy bar. Great atmosphere, the fire in the fireplaces were crackling when we entered while the autumn wind and showers were kept outside. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is in a great location for staying in the Cairngorms, and the decor is beautiful. The four-poster bed was a really nice touch! The room layout and size was perfect, and if we can come back we would love to. The value for money is exceptional and the breakfast room and lounge areas were perfect. The free grab-n-go breakfast was perfect too. I would love to see the restaurant re-opened when we come back.

This is one of those grand old hotels with plaid carpeting, stag decor, and photos of birds. They bill themselves the wildlife hotel. They can recommend birding spots. You right next to the Cairngorms and about 30 miles from Culloden. Lovely dinner followed by several drams of the local whiskies in the cozy bar.
