The Woodside

Hotel in Doune

Located in Doune, 12 miles from Lake of Menteith, The Woodside has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The Woodside in Doune was our favourite place to stay in all of the UK. It’s a charming little place with comfortable rooms and strong water pressure. The building is newly renovated so everything was clean and modern. They have an excellent restaurant with patio seating and breakfast is complimentary for guests. The menu selection was very good and included all the traditional Scottish fair. The best part for us was the staff. They were all super friendly and gave guest comfort the highest priority.

Friars Wynd Hotel

Hotel in Stirling

Located in Stirling, Friars Wynd Hotel has rooms with free WiFi access. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. After an overnight coach, we're very tired and drunk all water. When we arrived, the staff refilled our bottles with both hot and cold water. It's a very warm welcome. Many thanks! After we left the city, we noticed that we had left our hot water bottle in our room, the staff kept it for us so we could get it back for our journey. So loving they're! For the location, it's easy to reach the hotel as it's very close to the train station. The room was clean and quiet, so we had a very good recovery from our long journey. The breakfast was great and there're many options. We enjoyed our stay there and we feel lucky to have stay there at our first night, so that we recovered very well. Would like to return again in the future :)

Old Churches House

Hotel in Dunblane

Located in the heart of Dunblane’s Cathedral Square, Old Churches House offers free Wi-Fi. The house and the town have a very nice flair to them. You step out of the property and stand right in front of the beautiful church. Right below is a river and some garden grounds to take a walk and see the surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay. Also, the room was very quiet.
