Offering views of the Scottish Highlands, The Nest Glamping Pod is set 1.9 mi from Dalmally. It offers accommodations, barbecue facilities and a garden. The glamping pod features an private bathroom. The location was very remote and beautiful. We really enjoyed being away from everyone and the city. The bed was super comfortable and warm. Loch Awe
This enchanting Edwardian country house is home to 5 modern, self-catering apartments, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. I fell in love with the location when I saw the pictures on Booking and was more than happy to discover than the suite we rented was even better! The location of the Kilchurn suites is really convenient if you want to travel all around Scotland as it is quite central (30 minutes from Oban and located at the crossroads to different major places). The appartment is confortable, very well furnished and with lot of brightness. The kitchen is totally equiped, allowing us to cook and be totally autonomous. There's a big parking space to park in the courtyard. As there are 3 suites in the same buiding, I was afraid it might be noisy but this is not the case; we had a lot of privacy and quietness in our appartement and we didn't realise that we had neighbours. We had a great stay at Kilchurn suites and found very lovely hosts. Paul and Kate are soo nice and helpful that we were sad to leave them after 2 weeks. We expect to return with friends as we still have to discover a lot of things in Scotland and in the area. Thanks to Paul and Kate for their warm welcome!
Kilchrenan
16 miles from Dunstaffnage Castle in Kilchrenan, The Posting House offers accommodations with access to wellness packages. The Posting House is a beautifully set up property - clean, comfortable and well set up. Kate, the host, was very accommodating. You could stay for a week quite easily. Our car broke down and Kate even offered to pick us up and drop us off if we needed it. Kate allowed us to have a late checkout until our car was ready, which was so appreciated. She even followed up after to check we were ok.

The Taychreggan Hotel is a charming and lovely place located right on Loch Awe. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were treated like royalty. The hotel is secluded in a beautiful setting and the grounds are pristinely maintained. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean and quiet. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious. The bar cozy and inviting. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and will definitely come back for a lovely weekend get away. Wish we had stayed more than one night.
Dalmally
We love this place, this is our second visit. Situated on the edge of Loch Awe, it is beautifully peaceful. The views are magnificent. We had a loch view need, I say more. The hotel is an old 18th century listed building, so do not expect a 5 star modern hotel ( wouldn't fit in this area anyway), HOWEVER, the food is definitely 5 star! The chef is amazing, so eat in their restaurant. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff are great.
Kilchrenan
this place was amazing. huge en-suite rooms with antiques and yet modern conveniences. large estate and gardens to roam all the way to loch Awe which is remote, beautiful, and peaceful. The bar was fully stocked and the staff were helpful and very friendly but not in our business.. Meals were extraordinary made with local ingredients. Everything just so we’ll done.
Dalmally
Beautiful old place in a fabulous location! We enjoyed our meals and meeting some of the local people and dogs. The apartment we were in was simple but very adequate. Not a fancy place but very comfortable. We had a nice walk to Loch Awe, visited Inveraray, the castle and had a great lunch. We enjoyed our stay and recommend highly.
Dalavich
Amazing location, close to Loch Awe. The apartment was a good size. Hosts were really welcoming, as were the local community. Great cafe and shop nearby, and a community centre with a restaurant, bar and social activities. The surrounding landscape was astonishingly beautiful.
