With a restaurant and a bar onsite, The Bath Arms Hotel offers adult-only accommodations in the picturesque village of Cheddar. The Cheddar Gorge Caves are just 10 minutes' walk away. Everything was very good, staff and owner were so polite, well mannered, professional and friendly. The building itself was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The food was amazing and the room really homely and relaxing.

Adjacent to The Langford Inn are bedrooms with attached bathroom housed in 2 converted 17th-century barns with exposed beams, original brickwork, oak floors and luxuries for modern living. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. The room is absolutely lovely. They provided many extras. I had Prosecco and an IPA waiting for me when I arrived. The bed is fabulous. The shower was good water pressure and very warm. The linens were very plush and towels huge. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided. I ate dinner there and had a wonderful dining experience. Andrew fixed me a bag of food items for the early departure since I would miss breakfast. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I would caution that if you’re a very light sleeper, there are some sounds that might wake you. The cars leaving might be the loudest but they are gone, but I was there when a very large dinner party was happening. I will definitely go there again. It was only a 10 minute drive (easy drive for an American) back to the car rental return. Then a bus to the airport.

Crossways is nestled in the heart of Somerset, at the foot of the Mendip Hills, 4 miles from the city of Wells. Staff were so helpful. They had a good knowledge of the community and every referral they gave was wonderful!
