The hotel is located in a ship with a varied history - used during wartimes, but also for trade, then for a playboy‘s party life, it had been left unused for many years before the current owners restored it. Hotel rooms are designed as cabins with en-suite bathrooms, breakfast and drinks are served in the upper deck. We loved the design of the rooms and common areas - high quality and nicely classic without any kitsch. Service was impeccable, and while breakfast was rather simple, the bar served very creative cocktails. Certainly a very unique experience!

Breakfast was full of lovely options, and due to Covid restrictions, the dining was well spaced out. Views from breakfast dining room were very nice indeed. Great cycling countryside so would defo go back there with bikes. Thumbs up, Arden Hall Hotel :o)

Buffet breakfast is generous and very tasty, and everyone was very helpful and polite. I asked to check-in early and reception was kind enough to let me do so. Excellent location and lots of amenities around.
