Hotel in Stornoway
The Crown Inn offers pet-friendly accommodations in Stornoway, 1312 feet from Museum Naan Eilean. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. It's a great little place, just a short walk from the Ferry terminal. Their restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday but there was a complimentary bowl of fruit which was a nice touch. I liked that there was a "residents lounge" which, had I stayed more than one night, I would have definitely used it more. It was quiet, comfortable and a safe place to leave my luggage after checking out for the daytime before I got my bus.

Hotel in Balallan
Located in Balallan and with Callanish Standing Stones reachable within 20 miles, Loch Erisort Hotel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. The location is magical and the room beautiful - but the most important thing is the kindness of the people that own this little hotel. I got sick while staying there, and they took care of me and helped me get well. These guys made me feel like I had a family away from home.

Stornoway
We loved the home/hotel! All of the elements using Harris Tweed reminded us we were in the heart of the Beautiful Isle of Lewis/Harris. really quiet and comfortable. It felt like all we had to do is check in and everything was taken care of… we felt cared for. Breakfast was elegant and wonderful.
Extremely comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Very peaceful setting and convenient for catching the ferry the following day.
There are so many elements of our stay that we loved about Ceol Na Mara: the warmth and friendliness of our hosts, Jane and Dave, the view from our room, the physical beauty of the location, the thoughtful and sensitive attention to detail, the Harris Tweed touches and decor of our generously sized room, the peace and quiet, the little touches of whisky, the biscuits and chocolates, having a fridge in our room with fresh milk, the wonderfully comfortable bed, the thoughtful inclusion of ear plugs, a picnic set, face cloths, the porch for changing from outdoor shoes, the delicious, generous breakfast, blockout blinds, the guest lounge upstairs and the wonderful touches of highly appropriate sheep decor throughout the guesthouse. Just love what Jane and Dave have created in providing a sanctuary for guests at Ceol Na Mara. They have considered every little detail in catering for guests needs. It was truly a privilege to stay here. We just wish we had stayed longer.
We enjoyed a very comfortable stay.
amazing view from the room and comfortable place by the window, friendly host who made sure my bike would stay safe and dry during the night
wonderful large, comfortable room. very convenient to ferry, town, sightseeing. great hosts, delicious breakfast.
The room was wonderful, nicely decorated and comfortable.
Our multi-generational family group had two of the suites and they were perfect for us. Everything is very up-to-date, the suites were clearly decorated by a professional and make excellent use of local products (tweed drapes, for example), kitchen is very well-equipped with all needed for preparing meals if that is what you choose, beds are very comfortable. All-in-all excellent and very good value.
Called on arrival and they were waiting on us when we arrived
We were provided with great local ingredients for cooked breakfasts which was a lovely touch.
Our host Alison was everything and more we could've asked for during our stay on Lewis. Nothing was too much hassle and her home has a lovely feeling about it. The beach close by is very idyllic as well!
